Citypost App License

Adopted July 15, 2026 · Effective October 29, 2026 · Provided by Pivotal Intelligence LLC, a Smart City Media company

Who we are

These policies are provided by Pivotal Intelligence LLC, a Smart City Media company (“Pivotal Intelligence,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). “Smart City Media” means Smart City Media LLC and its subsidiaries and affiliates other than Pivotal Intelligence. “Affiliates” means Smart City Media and any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with Pivotal Intelligence.

Pivotal Intelligence operates the Citypost™ digital kiosks, the Citypost mobile app, the Campaign Manager advertising platform, the kiosk sensor network, the Citypost Wi-Fi service, and this website (together, the “Services”).

1. License

This Citypost App License (“License”) is between you and Pivotal Intelligence (the “Licensor”). It governs your use of the Citypost mobile application (the “App”) and is part of our Terms of Service. Subject to this License, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.

The App lets you find nearby Citypost kiosks, access local information, transit and event updates, and connect to Citypost Wi-Fi.

2. Who can use the App

You must be at least 13 to download or use the App. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to this License on your behalf. Where required by law, we use an age screen and a verifiable parental consent process before collecting personal information from younger users.

3. Restrictions

Except where the law permits it despite this restriction, you may not:

4. Ownership

The App is licensed, not sold. All rights, title and interest in the App, including all intellectual property rights, remain with the Licensor and its Affiliates and licensors. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. Privacy and permissions

Our Privacy Notice explains what the App collects. The App asks for device permissions, such as location, only when a feature needs them, and you can withdraw permissions in your device settings at any time.

6. Updates and security

We may release updates that fix bugs, add features or strengthen security. App updates are digitally signed, and some updates may be required in order to keep using the App. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the App, and will give reasonable notice where practical.

7. Term and termination

This License lasts until you or we end it. You can end it by deleting the App. It ends automatically if you breach it. When it ends, you must stop using and delete the App.

8. App stores

If you got the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store's terms. Apple and Google are not parties to this License and are not responsible for the App or its support, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this License and may enforce it against you.

9. Disclaimers, liability and disputes

The disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution and New York governing-law provisions in Sections 12, 13 and 15 of the Terms of Service apply to the App.

10. Changes

If we make a material change to this License, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the App or by email before it takes effect.
